These are books the network has lived with. They are not a syllabus, not a recommendation engine, not a top-ten list. They are a shelf. Each book is here because somebody on the network has read it twice. The why-it-matters under each title is written by a person, not a model. Public visitors read freely. Cohab residents may borrow.
